A JPG is the easiest way to share a flyer, poster or invitation made in Publisher: it posts to social media, drops into an email and prints from a phone. Every page of the .pub becomes one JPG at 150 dpi.

The file you get
One .jpg per page (150 dpi, so a Letter page is 1275 × 1650 pixels), named with the page number. More than one page downloads as a ZIP. Pick PNG instead for 300 dpi print quality.

Good to know
- The page layout, text, fonts, colours, shapes, tables and pictures come across. Text that wraps around a picture, WordArt effects and some gradient styles are simplified. Fonts are replaced by open look-alikes with the same letter widths unless you have the original fonts installed.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The converter is compiled to WebAssembly and runs in this browser tab. Open DevTools, go to the Network tab and convert a file: nothing carrying your file goes out. After the page has loaded you can even disconnect from the internet and it still works.
Can I get a higher resolution?
Choose PNG: pages are rendered at 300 dpi, which is print quality.
Do I need Publisher installed?
No. The
.pub file is read directly, without Publisher, Office or a Microsoft account. It works on Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Linux in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
