Convert a whole folder of .pub files at once
Churches, schools, clubs and small offices rarely have one Publisher file; they have years of newsletters, bulletins, certificates and flyers. Pick the folder, and every .pub inside it (subfolders included) is converted in one run and downloaded as a single ZIP that keeps the file names.

The file you get
One .zip with a PDF (or JPG pages, Word document, pictures, whichever you picked) for every publication in the folder. Files that can't be read are listed on the page with the reason, and the rest still convert.
Steps

.pubare ignored. - Pick one or more formats: PDF for archiving, JPG for sharing, Word to keep editing the text.
- Click Convert N files and download and keep the tab open until the ZIP downloads.

Good to know
- Very large folders (hundreds of files with big photos) are faster in Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer.
- Files from Publisher 98 through 2021 and Microsoft 365 are supported. Publisher 1.0 to 95 files, and a few unusual layouts, can't be read; the page says so instead of handing you a blank file.
Questions
How many files can I convert at once?
There is no set limit. Each file is converted in turn in your browser; a few hundred typical newsletters take a few minutes.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The converter is compiled to WebAssembly and runs in this browser tab. Open DevTools, go to the Network tab and convert a file: nothing carrying your file goes out. After the page has loaded you can even disconnect from the internet and it still works.
Is it free? What's the catch?
It's free, with no page limit, no watermark and no sign-up. The conversion runs on your computer, so there is no server bill to recover; ads on the page pay for the site.
